Because every child deserves love, safety, and attention

Since 1970, the Home has provided nurturing care and life-changing services for youth and families in need. Our vision is to be a community leader that exceeds industry standards of care, pursues innovative practices, and equips youth and families to achieve healthy independence and sustainable success.

What we do

Located in York County, the Children’s Attention Home’s main objective has always been to provide a temporary care shelter in which a child can experience a loving care, individualized attention, and compassionate support until the a permanent home can be found. The Children’s Attention Home continues to fulfill this objective after nearly 50 years of operation.

Volunteers are an important part of who we are, what we do, and why we succeed.
