Current Opportunities

We love working with students! Whether you have a few service hours to fulfill or a project to complete, we'd love to talk with you about how you can partner with us here at the Home.

For the safety and privacy of the youth we serve, volunteers must be at least 18 years old and completed high school to serve in roles that involve direct interaction with residents. Opportunities open to all students—and additional indirect roles for students ages 16–17—are listed below.

Collection Drives

As with any home, there are certain daily essentials that we find ourselves in need of on a continual basis. While we have some limitations on what items we can accept because of regulations and limited space, we’d love to talk with you about helping us fill our current needs! Invite Us to Speak to Your Class or Group

Want your class, club, or youth group to learn more about foster care, youth homelessness, or careers in helping professions? We’d love to come speak with your students.

Schedule a Tour

Come for a visit! We would love to show you or your group our Home, tell you more about our work and ways you can help. Each tour lasts for about 30 minutes to an hour and can be catered to your group's needs.

High School Students (ages 16+)

Mighty Mower & Landscape Volunteer

Do you love working outdoors? Help keep our campus beautiful, clean, and safe for our youth! Volunteers that serve in this capacity are responsible for the upkeep of our grounds. This includes mowing our lawns, trimming hedges, weeding, and edging during the growing season.

Outreach Volunteer

Outreach volunteers help spread awareness, educate about the Home, and raise support in the community by serving at fairs, schools, festivals, and other events. Volunteers have the flexibility to sign up for events based on their schedule and can in a variety of ways, from prepping materials ahead of events to serving at a table.
