We begin with the end in mind. Working with each youth individually, the Home creates a comprehensive care plan tailored specifically to their needs and goals. Many teens face life on their own immediately or shortly after living at the Home, To help teens prepare for successful independence, we focus on preparing for their eventual departure from the beginning. 

As part of their goals, these teens secure jobs, earn money, and open savings accounts to invest in their future. They develop life skills and earn driver’s licenses to ensure they are able to continue providing for themselves once they exit care. They are also afforded more responsibility regarding their schedules and earnings. It is then up to the child, with staff support, to carry out their plan and make the successful transition to life on their own.
