Runaway and Homeless Youth
Who We Serve
Overview
Many youth find themselves without a safe and stable place to stay each night. They may be couchsurfing, living in unsafe homes, or truly without a home.
Since 2017, the Home has served youth ages 17-20 experiencing or at risk of homelessness. Served through our residential programs, youth will have the opportunity to:
- identify short, long, and transitional goals
- have the opportunity to continue their education
- explore different career opportunities
- obtain employment
- learn how to budget and save their money
- build their support system by connecting with individuals and family and making new connections
The goal for the youth in the program is to transition to their own permanent housing, build their support system, and achieve sustainable and successful independence.
