Terell's Story
July 1, 2020
After having to leave the Crossroads program, Terell returned determined to make his second chance count. He hit the ground running, seeking the support, encouragement and guidance he needed to be successful. He proactively searched for employment and worked with our team to set small, incremental goals to transition to being on his own by his 21st birthday. When the pandemic struck, Terell lost his job. However, he channeled his energy into helping at the Home - assisting with lawn care, in the kitchen, and finding small ways to help. By the time he left, he obtained his ID, secured an apartment, and was employed full-time.
