Founders Federal Credit Union Deepens Decades‑Long Partnership with Children's Attention Home
Steadfast support that's intentional, long‑standing, and focused on the future
For nearly two decades, Founders Federal Credit Union has been a steadfast partner of the Children’s Attention Home, supporting its mission to provide safety, stability, and opportunity for youth and families in need. Built on shared values and a deep commitment to community, the partnership reflects years of meaningful engagement and long‑term investment in the well‑being of young people across York County.
“Looking ahead, we envision a partnership that continues to grow in impact and create more opportunities for young people in Rock Hill and the surrounding areas,” shared Chief Marketing Officer Nicki Nash.
That forward‑looking commitment is underscored by Founders’ recent support of the Children’s Attention Home’s Way Forward Campaign. Through a new multi‑year pledge, Founders is investing in both immediate needs and long‑term stability—helping strengthen the Home’s ability to serve youth today while building a foundation for future generations.
For many decades, Founders Federal Credit Union has provided hope and support to individuals and families across York County, including a decade‑long commitment to the Children’s Attention Home. Through this partnership, Founders helps ensure that youth and families receive individualized, life‑changing care in a safe, nurturing environment—one where healing happens, potential is restored, and a more stable future becomes possible.
“The Home's dedication to individualized care, innovative practices, and long‑term stability reflects the same belief we hold at Founders; that meaningful support goes beyond meeting immediate needs,” Nash noted. “It creates pathways to lasting opportunities. That shared philosophy is what makes this partnership so impactful for our team.”
Founders operates on two fundamental principles: service and community. These values guide the credit union’s involvement with the Home through hands‑on volunteer efforts, guest speakers providing financial education to youth, and support for local fundraising initiatives—including participation in the annual Heart of the Home Benefit Luncheon.
The credit union also promotes leadership within the community, including opportunities for board service. Since the Home’s establishment in 1970, multiple Founders employees have supported its mission through service on the Board of Directors, including current board member Neely Malone.
“Our commitment to the Children’s Attention Home is intentional, long‑standing, and focused on the future,” Nash shared. “For more than a decade, Founders has supported the Home’s mission, including having a Founders representative serve on its board. This year, we are proud to deepen that commitment with a new five‑year pledge designed to further strengthen the support and stability the Home provides to youth and families.”
