Forward Friday #9

Friday, June 5
Porch columns are in place, walls are taking shape, and landscaping and grading are on the horizon. While construction continues, we’re beginning the next step—preparing to furnish these houses so they can truly feel like home!
Each home is being thoughtfully prepared with furniture that is built to last—durable, practical pieces that can hold up to the everyday wear and tear of young people coming and going. From beds and dressers to tables and seating, each item is chosen not just for function, but for longevity.

These homes are designed to provide not just a place to stay, but a space that feels steady, functional, and ready for a young adult to start building their path forward.
Outfitting both homes will take about $82,000 in total, covering everything from beds and dressers to shared spaces like kitchens and living rooms. To stay on track, we'll begin ordering furniture at the end of June so the homes can open as soon as possible in the fall.
Let's get them ready! You can help furnish the way forward and bring these spaces together, piece by piece.
Here are a few other ways you can help create spaces for more youth...

Our brand new custom coffee, Fueling Brighter Futures, hit shelves last week! Made possible by our friends at The Home Team and Knowledge Perk, each bag purchased helps create real opportunities for youth. Buy online or in store at Knowledge Perk Rock Hill & Fort Mill. 15% of proceeds benefit the campaign.

Join us Friday, July 10 at Truist Field for fun and fireworks, and help shine a little extra light on life‑changing care. Shout out to Edge Car Wash for sponsoring this event!
$5 of every ticket supports the campaign!
