Building Healthier Futures:Atrium Health

September 30, 2026

Health and well-being are shaped by more than the care someone receives in a doctor’s office or hospital. Healthy communities begin with healthy families, and Atrium Health is committed to improving quality of life by addressing the factors that influence health both inside and outside of clinical settings. For young people especially, having a safe place to live, nutritious meals, consistent support, and access to needed resources can build a stronger foundation for the future.

For more than a decade, Atrium Health and Children’s Attention Home have shared a commitment to strengthening the health and well-being of local youth and families. Since the partnership began in 2014, Atrium Health has supported leadership training and program initiatives that help the Home provide care, connection, and opportunities for young people working toward healthy independence.

“Every young person deserves the chance to grow up in a safe and supportive environment,” shared Alicia Campbell, Atrium Health Vice President and Facility President. “We know that things like stable housing, nutritious meals and strong support systems play an important role in overall health and well-being. That’s why Atrium Health is proud to work alongside Children’s Attention Home and support the incredible work they’re doing to help young people overcome challenges and build brighter futures.”

For Atrium Health, partnering with organizations like the Home is part of supporting the whole person, not only their healthcare needs. By investing in young people and families facing homelessness, abuse, neglect, or limited access to resources, Atrium Health is helping improve health outcomes, advance health equity, and create opportunities for lifelong well-being.

The Children’s Attention Home is grateful for Atrium Health’s commitment to healthier communities and its investment in opportunities for local youth. By working together to address the needs that influence health and well-being, Atrium Health and the Home are helping young people build stronger foundations for brighter futures.
