Vital funds raised at 18th Annual Heart of the Home Benefit
On March 27, the Home hosted its 18th annual Heart of the Home Benefit, bringing together over 150 community members in support of its mission. Attendees had the opportunity to hear powerful stories from youth currently in the Home’s care and learn about the critical services needed to support them. Thanks to the generosity of sponsors and guests, the event raised over $100,000 to help provide essential resources for teens in need.
Guests enjoyed a delicious lunch provided by Outback before the program kicked off with opening remarks from Board Chair Adam Smith. The event featured a deeply moving program, including video stories from two youth currently living at the Home, a guided narrative led by board member Lisa Foster that helped attendees connect with the experiences of the Home’s youth, and inspiring remarks from Interim Executive Director Tara Burgess, Board Secretary Cara Sullivan, and Board Emeritus Randy Kibler.
