Behind the Heart Breakfast Gathering
On November 8th, supporters of the Children’s Attention Home came together to celebrate a year of impactful work at a breakfast hosted in Rock Hill. The event featured updates on accomplishments, challenges, and heartfelt success stories, offering a glimpse into the Home’s efforts and future goals.
On November 8th, supporters of the Children’s Attention Home gathered at the Hilton Garden Inn in Rock Hill for a celebratory breakfast. The event brought together donors, volunteers, sponsors, and grantors to reflect on the Home's achievements over the past year and learn about exciting plans for the future.
One of the Home’s dedicated volunteers, Eileen Prizeman, remarked, “This was a great event. I love how it was organized, and all the information that was shared was super helpful.”
Attendees listened to stories of progress and success, including Valerie’s, who successfully transitioned from her time at the Home to life on her own. Audrey Smith, a Care Coordinator at the Home, shared how Valerie grew and progressed in the nearly five years that she lived at the Home. The Home's leadership highlighted significant accomplishments over the past year, discussed ongoing challenges, shared plans for the coming years, and outlined actionable ways for supporters to help.
Quanisha Savage, a representative with Atrium Health, added, “The information shared was truly valuable as the Children’s Attention Home is doing amazing work making a difference in the lives of the children who need love, housing, and a safe place.”
