Gather for Good

Already planning a holiday party, dinner, neighborhood get-together, office celebration, or gathering with friends? Add a little extra meaning by inviting your guests to support the Children’s Attention Home.

Whether you’re gathering around a dinner table, celebrating with coworkers, or hosting friends for the holidays, you can create an opportunity to make a difference for youth and young adults in our community. Keep it simple by adding a collection to something you’re already planning, or build a gathering around supporting the Home.

Ways to Participate

Collect Needed Items

Invite guests to bring items from our current wish list in place of, or in addition to, traditional host gifts. Purchase items from our Amazon wishlist or reach out to our team for current needs (volunteers@attentionhome.org).

Give Together

Invite guests to make a financial gift to support youth at the Home. If you are looking to support a specific area of need, contact our team to learn about the most needed support at this time.

Share Our Mission

Sometimes simply introducing people to the Home matters. Share information about who we serve, what we do, and ways your guests can get involved.

Make It Your Own

A neighborhood cookie exchange. An office holiday lunch. A Friendsgiving dinner. A Christmas party. A book club gathering. There’s no required format. Choose what fits naturally with the gathering you’re already having!

Planning Your Gathering

Choose how you’d like to help. Collect needed items, raise funds, share the Home’s story, or combine a few options.
Invite your people. Let guests know that supporting the Home will be part of your gathering.
We’ll help you share the word. Provide downloadable/shareable materials such as a short description of the Home, wish list, giving link/QR code, and perhaps a simple “Tonight, we’re supporting…” graphic.
Celebrate and make an impact. Enjoy your gathering knowing you’ve connected your friends, family, neighbors, or coworkers with a meaningful local cause.
