New Residential Services Director at the Helm

June 15, 2018

Making sure our children receive the best care possible is at the core of all we do. With the promotion of Emily Parrish as our new Executive Director, the Home began the search for the right person to replace her in leading our residential team to face the challenges of the changing landscape of child welfare.

After searching through a pool of over 100 candidates, we found our leader among our very own in Alicia Scott. Alicia has served at the Home for over 13 years, beginning as a residential counselor, then a job coach, and most recently as one of our Children’s Service Coordinators (CSC) managing Morris Cottage.

As a CSC, Alicia played an integral role leading within the residential team to achieve the Home’s recent status of national accreditation, implementing the Crossroads program, and conversion to a new client case management system.

"The Children’s Attention Home has been a part of my life for the last 13 years and is part of my extended family," Alicia expressed. "I am excited to serve in the role as the Residential Services Director to continue advocating for the children we serve, grow our programs, and work alongside of some amazing people."

In this role, Alicia will be over all residential programs, leading our team in the care of the children, overseeing all licensing and compliance, and building relationships with other service providers to ensure the Home is best meeting the needs of our children and the community. Please join us in expressing our congratulations!
