Home receives grant from Ronald McDonald House Charities of NC
On Wednesday, Nov. 11, the Children's Attention Home received a generous grant of $35,000 from the Ronald McDonald House Charities of North Carolina. Present for the check presentation were McDonald's owners/operators Marty Ranft, Ann Stanton, Christine Lancey, Edward and Ann Baum, and Fred Funderburk, and Children's Attention Home's Debra Eident, Katy Motsinger and Tara Burgess.
The funding from this grant will be used to support the shelter and well-being program for the many children the Home serves. In addition, some of the funds will be used to provide much needed upgrades inside the cottages and administrative building common areas, such as the dining hall and cottage living room areas.
Thank you to Ronald McDonald House Charities of North Carolina for your incredible support of our children!
