Fight for Families 5K
by: Fostering the Family
- Price: FREE
The Children's Attention Home wil be attending the Fostering the Family's "Fight for Families 5k."
This race will be held at the brand new Allison Creek Park. This event will bring awareness to the local foster and adoption crisis. While this race is a true 5k, it will also have some elements that offer an interactive insight into the life of a child traveling through the child welfare system. In celebration of fall, we will also be including a costume contest for the children and families. Medals will be awarded to race winners per age category. Join us as we experience the reality of foster care and come together as a community to bring about change!
