The Children's Attention Home received a generous grant from Speedway Children's Charities in support of our Food Services Program this past December. This grant helps the Home purchase much needed food to provide each child with healthy meals and snacks for every day they are in our care.
To celebrate each grant recipient, Speedway Children's Charities hosted a wonderful event for all agencies to attend at the Charlotte Motor Speedway. Each agency receiving a grant was recognized, and many of the children impacted by the generosity of Speedway Children's Charities were in attendance, including a group of children from the Home. Guests enjoyed hot chocolate and cookies, an opportunity to visit with Santa and complete a "project" in Santa's workshop, and view the lights display around the track at the Speedway.
