The Children’s Attention Home accepted a generous grant award from the Speedway Children's Charities in December. The Home was recognized along with over 100 non-profits in the Charlotte area. As part of the grant presentation, our children had the distinct opportunity to attend, visit with Santa, received a stuffed animal, and view the spectacular display of Christmas lights and music at the Speedway.
Speedway Children's Charities provides vital support to the Home to purchase food for each child. Food insecurity is a common problem faced by many of the children served by the Home. While living at the Home, children enjoy three meals a day and three snacks a day!
